Single-point Diamond Turning Machine
The PDUP Ultra-Precision Single-Point Diamond Turning Machine is primarily used for the manufacturing and processing of optical lenses, mirrors, mold cores, and precision mechanical components. This machine is capable of optical-grade processing on a variety of materials including copper, aluminum, single-crystal germanium, zinc selenide, resin, and PMMA (Polymethyl methacrylate). The machine can handle plane, spherical, aspherical, off-axis curved surfaces, and freeform surfaces with nanometer-level surface shape accuracy. Surface roughness can even reach sub-nanometer levels. With special tooling, the machine is also capable of machining microstructures, such as micro-lens arrays and Fresnel lenses, ensuring highly precise and intricate geometries.

Features
1. Air Bearing Spindle
The air bearing grinding spindle uses dry, clean air through microporous layers to support the rotor shaft against the stator, enabling fast, smooth rotation without contact, ensuring exceptional accuracy and stability. Learn More
2. Hydrostatic Slider
High-precision hydrostatic guideways offer several advantages over conventional rolling guideways, including higher accuracy, lower friction, excellent lubrication, strong damping characteristics, and the absence of stick–slip. Learn More
3. High-Precision Tool-Setting Microscope System
The machine’s preparation time is typically spent on tool setting. The most time-consuming step in this process is measuring and adjusting the tool position using an external metrology system. By using a tool-setting microscope, the tool can be quickly positioned with high accuracy, reducing preparation time by approximately 30 minutes. With a high-precision quick-change system, positioning accuracy within ±1 μm can be achieved. Combined with a high-precision imaging system, the tool-tip positioning error can be kept within ±3 μm.
4. PDAU CAM Software
The PDAU CAM software supports various function inputs for surface removal and advanced cleaning, while also enabling light curves, spiral trajectories, and multiple steps for curved surface generation. Learn More
5. Video Monitoring System (Optional)
19-inch display with a 38-megapixel video microscope for high-clarity machining process monitoring, equipped with a hydraulic fixed bracket.
6. Dynamic Balancing System
Dynamic balancing analysis software (sensor: X-axis feedback system) provides real-time vibration monitoring and correction capability, supporting precision offline dynamic balancing with gyroscope-level accuracy.
